I use the JMC client to play Materia Magica. I discovered the game in 2001, and it was the first time I'd played a MUD-style game. I wanted to play using something that was free, but would have the capability of more advanced functions should I decide to stick with it. JMC ticked all the boxes, and I'm still using it today.
In due course I'll be adding some aliases, triggers and vbscripts that I've created.
Note that the default command delimiter (for inputting multiple lines) is the semicolon character ";". Personally, I find that the semicolon is too important a character to use for this purpose, and prefer the rather more obscure "`" character, which I've used throughout this site. If you wish to change your own delimiter, in the Options menu, select Setup, and you can enter your prefered character in the highlighted box:
